WORSHOP - KNIT AND CROCHET BAGS IN SELF-MADE YARN
The event is free and takes place at Villa Kultur, Krausesvej 3, 2100 Copenhagen.
Designers Anne Sofie Sørensen and Ina B will hold a workshop where you will have the opportunity to knit and crochet bags with ‘yarn’ made from textile waste. We will upcycle the textiles by cutting them into strips of yarn that you can then knit and crochet with. You choose which colours you prefer to use to create your upcycled bag.
You can knit and crochet Anne Sofie Sørensen's pattern for the Dagmar Mini bag or you can let your inspiration run wild and design your own bag with the opportunity for feedback and help.

WORKSHOP - BASIC COLOUR THEORY WITH ANNE SOFIE SØRENSEN

In this workshop you will get an introduction to basic colour theory. We will look at colours in general, the many shades of each colour, the darkness of colours, how colours affect each other and finally colour blending.
Anne Sofie gives you inspiration on where and how to find colour inspiration and then she opens up her personal swatch book with over 50 different swatches. She will focus on colour combinations, the use of different materials and needle sizes.
At the workshop you will also have the opportunity to try your hand at combining colours and learn new techniques in knitting and colour blending.
Bring: Yarn, any scraps you find difficult to use, different colours and qualities. A large knitting needle from 5 to 10mm and a small knitting needle from 3 to 5mm, scissors and a notebook/colour book so you can start your colour inspiration journey together.
Anne Sofie Sørensen graduated as a fashion designer from Design School Kolding 2022, she shares her knitting adventures on Instagram @annesofiesrensen and creates knitting patterns and knitting workshops on a daily basis.
